This is not simply our job, it’s our passion.About The RoleAs the Manager, Marketing – Marine & Waterpark, you will manage all marketing activity relating to the marine and waterpark business, including its sub-business units under the Aquaventure World brand, across Aquaventure Waterpark, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, marine animal experiences, watersports, and MWP retail and F&B. You will contribute to the overall strategy, performance, and profitability of the MWP business by developing strategic marketing brand and commercial plans with the objective to exceed the annual business targets, and drive brand visibility of the Aquaventure World brand and all sub-business unit brands in local and international markets to increase brand awareness and equity. You will also manage the direct MWP ticket sales to achieve budgeted revenue through innovative brand, product, and tactical campaigns throughout the year, and be responsible for the Aquaventure World brand identity, ensuring the tone of voice, visual identity and brand essence is protected and promoted across all marketing initiatives.Other key aspects of this role will include developing the annual marketing calendar in line with business objectives and developed marketing strategies. You will also create fully-fledged integrated marketing campaigns with the objective of driving new customer acquisitions and capitalising off cross-sell, upsell and repeat visitation tactics, whilst also being responsible for the full in-park guest experience in conjunction with all operations departments to promote activities with the objective to increase guest share of wallet and provide an extraordinary guest experience. This also includes leading on all in-resort collateral, signage, digital screens, and mobile applications content updates.About YouThe successful Manager, Marketing – Marine & Waterpark candidate must be enthusiastic about working in a theme park/waterpark environment and have a minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience within an agency, or in-house. You will also be a creative initiative-taker and group leader, who takes initiative, is resilient to challenges, setbacks, and change, whilst also being able to demonstrate vision, initiative, energy, and enthusiasm for the challenges of working in a perpetually changing environment.Other important attributes to be considered for this role would include having strong interpersonal and communications skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once and multi-tasking with ease. You must have demonstratable project management and organisational skills, have experience in managing P&Ls with financial understanding, and a proven ability to manage staff.Join a team that is adventurous, creative, warm-hearted and extroverted.
