A Snapshot of Your day
In a typical day as a Field Service Engineer at Siemens Energy, you would provide technical assistance to customers facing operational issues and breakdowns, ensuring they receive timely support.
You would collaborate with Field Service Representatives (FSRs) during outage execution, assist the project management team with outage preparation and follow-up, and support the sales and tendering team by providing technical insights for quotes and customer meetings.
Your extensive field service experience with industrial compressors would be crucial in reviewing field service reports and supporting new units and service business with technical dispositions.
How You Will Make An Impact
Support customers with technical assistance for breakdowns / solving, ongoing operational issues and any other technical information and advice.
Support FSR’s prior, during & after outage execution for any technical assistance or information.
Support the project management team for outage preparation, execution & follow-up.
Support the sales & tendering team to enable them to prepare field service quotes, spare parts & tooling clarifications and support the sales manager for any technical face-to-face customer meetings.
Technical review and approval of field service reports.
Support New Units & Service Business for Technical dispositions.
What You Bring
Typically, minimum of 10 years of successful field service / commissioning experience related to industrial compressors of all designs (centrifugal, axial, reciprocating) in the Oil and Gas industry.
Commendable Knowledge for Operational & Design aspects for Siemens & DR Compressors.
Hands on Field Service Experience for STC-SV, STC-SH, STC-GV, HSE, HHE, BDC.
Familiar with SE & DR Compressor Components Repair Process.
Experience in commissioning and working in the Field Service environment is essential to this role with familiarity with RCA Tools.
An Engineering degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
