Job Purpose:The Design Architect is responsible for preparing feasibility studies, test fits, pre-concepts, and concept designs. Additionally, they review design proposals to ensure they meet the organization's design, sustainability, and quality standards, key industry design principles/standards, and authority requirements. The Design Architect may lead or assist in leading design projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead/Support in Architectural & Interior Pre-Concept/Concept Designs aligned with the Projects/Cities Vision. Designs must meet the highest standards and quality. Prepare Architectural & Interior feasibility studies/test fits aligned with the design/development brief. Prepare supporting material/presentations outlining the rationale/substantiation behind the design. Utilize the latest design software to prepare preconcept/concept designs and assist in presenting them to senior management. Prepare high-quality Project Animations as required. Conduct architectural design review designs in line with Masdar Cities' design/technical requirements and associated value proposition. Identify and resolve design issues related to the companies Projects. Ensure designs are compliant with guidelines and relevant policies. Prepare specifications/technical notes/schedules as required. Lead/Assist in market research of the latest design trends applicable to the organisation Manage design coordination between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project interests are protected and aligned with the related Project Brief and scope. Communicate clearly and precisely with all internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring project alignment. Assist design team members in preparing design-related designs, feasibility studies, test fits, sketches, and information as required. Prepare or Assist with the preparation of design briefs and scope documents related to the procurement of external services from consultants. Assist/Participate in bid evaluations as needed. Participate (when requested) in QHSE audits, office inductions, incident reporting, and review of QHSE performances as applicable.
