Job Description Summary In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for the Saudi & Bahrain projects related to Grid Automation scope. The key role of the PM is to successfully execute the commercial deliverables of the contract and lead the Operating margins, whilst adhering to the policies and processes set out by the Company and satisfying the Customer.The projects are mainly related with the Transmission and Distribution Industry in Saudi & Bahrain, following financial and operational aspects: budget, technical & contractual scopes, resources & execution planning. he is also responsible for safety, quality, risks & opportunities management to ensure the highest customer satisfaction & to secure projects Contribution Margin. Additionally, you will be expected to support Tendering functions of Grid Automation portion.In line with Saudization requirements preference will be given to qualified Saudi nationals. Job Description Roles And ResponsibilitiesProject execution (from tender to warranty end, including delivery & commissioning activities)Responsible to plan, manage, commission, site management and deliver an entire project from transfer through to Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) ensuring that additional business opportunities are pursued and to deliver high levels of Customer satisfaction and maximum margin/value with clear focus on safety.Be the prime customer contact for the execution of the contract/projectExecute Projects in collaboration with EHS, engineering department, contract admin, contract management, finance, procurement & other support functionsBe accountable for On Time Delivery, Sales and cash-in realization (& accurate forecasting), project Operating Working Capital, Margins improvement & Customer satisfactionExecute projects keeping high standards in Safety, efficiency, on time delivery and financial goals as per PMH rulesContribute to units’ operational performance by providing accurate forecasts in finance Key Performance Indicators: Sales, Cash & MarginBusiness scope = Grid Automation projects (Protection, SAS , Monitoring & Diagnostics, & Services)Follow project management best practices (as per Project Management Handbook and specific Product line instructions), including specific focus on transfer review, project gates reviews and project close-outMonthly update on actions plan progress & Sales/cash forecastsPreparation and presentation of project reviewsContribute to EHS plan, Operation department development & Unit continuous improvementLead EHS/Safety actions and performance be fully compliant with GE rules and processes, ensure project teams (own and subcontracted) are properly trained and holders of required qualifications when required. Lead to EHS monitoring actions, perform HSVs.Follow GE compliance Policies (‘The Spirit and The Letter’) and promote open reportingSupport Commercial team by return of experience, optimizing project costs & deliveriesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Electrical Engineering degree or relevant backgroundMinimum 5 year working experience in Project Management, Contract execution or Operational roleEngineering and Business knowledge in Grid Automation marketSignificant experience in project-, site management and commissioning in DistributionProficiency in English and Arabic are mustGood business acumen, execution driven, process appliance, PM metrics, teamworkExcellent project management and stakeholder management skillsDesired QualificationsMaster in project/business management or similar degree from an accredited university or certification body (PMP, IPMA, aso.) would be advantageousHigh energy, positive individual loving operational challenges Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
