As Accountant, s/he will work closely with Finance Business partner and Accounting team to oversee and managing various financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of SGG financial records.Functional AccountabilitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulationsEnsure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activitiesReview and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issuesCollaborate with department heads and executives to develop annual budgets and forecastsMonitor and analyze budget-to-actual variances, providing insightful explanations and recommendations to improve financial performanceAssist in the preparation of financial projections and long-term financial plansEnsure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulationsSupport internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and insightsDevelop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrityConduct detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risksPrepare and present reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommending appropriate actionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of proposed projects, initiatives, or investmentsIdentify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the accounting function.Streamline financial processes and workflows, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.Stay updated with industry best practices and accounting standards, proactively recommending changes or updates to existing policies and proceduresEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience & Skills+5 years’ experience as Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulationsProficient in Excel and Power PointProficient knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisAdvanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentIntegrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentialityLet’s bring Together Savvy Games Studios to the world!
