JOB PURPOSE: Jobholders at this level carry out specific tasks independently but are subject to close supervision. They research, collect and analyze information, draft reports and documents, participate in specific meetings and develop their own professional expertise.They undertake simple operational activities including updating budget templates and forms, aligning with other functions on budget guidelines and timetables, and preparing historical data and statistics for budget development. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Update budgeting templates, forms, and guidelines based on requirements Coordinate with all functions to align on budget guidelines, timetables, and applicable forms Provide support to ZATCA’s functions for budget development through answering queries and preparing historical data and statistics Collect and consolidate inputs ensuring alignment with set guidelines and templates and develop organization-wide budget draft Negotiate and challenge ZATCA functions on forecasted budgets and accordingly finalize budget plan Upload final budget requirements into the system Assess budget modification requests and analyze supporting business cases to ensure viability and obtain needed approvals Conduct budget monitoring to ensure targeted and effective use of budget resources and avoid any budget deficit and overruns Perform variance analysis to pinpoint discrepancies between forecasted and actual budget Provide guidance and advice on budget discrepancies/ deviations Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly Perform other duties as requested JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 1 year of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent is required
