Mediclinic City Hospital located in Dubai Healthcare City is looking for a Consultant in Vascular Surgery for its Dubai region.You will team with the best clinicians providing comprehensive and specialised care where the patients experience exceptional level of medical care.If you are looking for a change and is interested to work with a highly functional team, we would love to hear from you!MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo provide patient-centric and evidence based consultant-level care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authoritiesKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASProvide a comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient mannerMonitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient careEnsure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standardsMaintain accurate medical recordsEnsure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on continuous professional development of self and othersMaintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible mannerREQUIRED EDUCATIONBasic medical degree and completion of higher education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authorityCertification and registration in the speciality of Vascular Surgery from one of the Tier 1 country specified by UAE healthcare regulator authority Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS)REQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 3-5 years’ post qualification experience at Consultant level from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator authorityREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEAbility to facilitate and support clinical clerkship training for medical students and junior colleaguesProficiency in an electronic medical record systemEffective communicationKnowledge of clinical audit standards and processesVerbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic will be an advantage)All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
