General ManagerJob DescriptionWe are Looking for a General Manager for one of our FMCG clients based in Egypt. Title: General ManagerLocation: Cairo, Egypt Experience: 15 years of experience of which at least 10 years of experience in the FMCG/Food industry with experience in the Egyptian market. Director reports: Head of Departments Roles & responsibilities: Overseeing daily operations : The GM will be responsible for ensuring the organization is functioning in an efficient manner. While the role is based in Cairo the GM will also be responsible to closely coordinate with the members in other corporate offices across the middle-east.Sales and revenue growth strategies : The GM will be responsible to curate timely plans to ensure the organization is always growing.New opportunity analysis : The incumbent has to ensure conduct market, consumer, competitor and product analysis to ensure the organization is at par with the industrial standards and ahead of his competitors.Budgeting : The individual will ensure the quarterly and yearly budget reports are prepared and reviewed and also Ensure all the departments are well within the allocated budget.Hiring and Mentoring : The incumbent will be responsible for hiring employees whenever the need arises and ensuring they are motivated to deliver results. Qualification, Education and skills Qualification : 15 years of experience of which at least 10 years of experience in the FMCG/Food industry with experience in the Egyptian market. P&L owner with expertise in Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Manufacturing. Education : MBA in a relevant field (Pref).Skills :Communication skills - English and Arabic (Preferable).Expertise in PnL management.Thorough understanding of the Egyptian Market. Business acumenGreat management skillsTime management skillsTeam management skills.
