Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

About the job: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented senior business intelligence analyst to join our dynamic team in the food & beverage industry. As a senior business intelligence analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting complex data from various sources to support strategic business initiatives and improve operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, advanced data manipulation skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive actionable insights.Key Accountabilities:Operations:Data governance: responsible for setting the data strategy for the organization and ensuring that data is collected, stored, managed, and used in a consistent and compliant manner. This includes developing data policies and procedures, as well as overseeing the implementation of data security measures.Data analytics: responsible for leading the organization's data analytics efforts. This includes using data to identify trends, make predictions, and improve decision-making. The Data Analytics Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to business problems.Data architecture: responsible for the overall architecture of the organization's data landscape. This includes designing and implementing data systems and processes that ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and secure.Data evangelism: responsible for promoting the value of data throughout the organization. This includes educating employees about the importance of data and how it can be used to improve business performance.People Management:Instills a performance-driven culture within the team.Develops and coaches’ direct reports, encouraging a culture of learning and self-development.Ensures a working environment that fosters motivation and collaboration between the team members.Supervise analyst-level employees.Ensure the accuracy of the data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.Are these your secret ingredients:Strategic vision: Must have a clear vision for how data can be used to improve the organization.Technical expertise: Must have a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and data science.Business acumen: Must be able to understand the business needs of the organization and how data can be used to address those needs.Communication skills: Must be able to communicate the value of data to both technical and non-technical audiences.Leadership skills: Must be able to build and lead a team of data professionals.Advanced experience in Excel is required.Experience in Power BI, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related major.Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
