Job Description

The role is responsible for leading the exploration and establishment of new codeshare, Interline and other commercial development partnerships to expand distribution and network reach for flyadeal, end to end implementing of commercial development initiatives across partner’s and flyadeal PSS i.e., Navitaire newskies. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine commercial development strategy.Identify and scout potential codeshare and interline partners for distribution and network expansion.Conduct detailed market analysis and feasibility studies to assess the strategic fir of potential partnerships.Oversee seamless implementation of commercial development initiatives like codeshare/interline agreements across Navitaire and other airline’s PSS.Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure technical compatibility and efficient integration.Lead the integration with precise project management process, policies, procedures needed for the internal and external stakeholder.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with commercial development strategy.Implement processes for accurate revenue monitoring and measurement of the codeshare/interline initiatives.Oversee the contract management and continuous rationalization of partner contracts.Mange the lifecycle of the contracts, addressing amendments and extensions as needed.Negotiate contracts, manage relationships to establish harmonious partner landscape to stay abreast of industry updates.Develop Key performance indicators to monitor the success of codeshare agreements.Generate regular reports on performance, providing insights and recommendations.Coordinate with the GDS team to facilitate smooth implementation and distribution of codeshare flights.Work closely with network planning as well as CEO’s PMO for further alignment of commercial development initiatives inline with the organizational strategy.Excellent project management and coordination for timely closure of integrations, enhancements.Collaborate with operations team, Navitaire/airline operations for regulatory compliance.Risk and Impact Analysis – identify and work with target dependencies and constraints. Prepare business cases and detailed financial analysis for all new initiatives.Contribute to Commercial team objectives and KPIs.Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to codeshare and interline.Ensure compliance with relevant aviation authorities and regulatory bodies by working with commercial regulatory and aero political teams within flyadeal.Utilize industry knowledge, relationships, and experience to architect solutions to common problems, particularly of a local or regional nature.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field / master’s degree Preferred.8+ years of experience in the airline industry and core airline reservation systems.Proven experience in codeshare development, implementation, management, preferably with exposure to Navitaire on to Amadeus passenger service systems.Preference of experience with Navitaire Newskies or Amadeus.Mandatory experience of successful implementation of atleast one end to end codeshare/interline agreement across Amadeus or Navitaire PSS from project initiation to launch and further partnership expansion.Experience working within the Middle Eastern market.
