SITUATION IN ORGANIZATIONReporting to Lead, SD and Campaign (N+1) and Head of Shutdown and Campaign (N+2) in Maintenance and Inspection Department.ACCOUNTABILITIESTo drive the safe and efficient execution of NOC’s Campaign & Shutdowns via the Integrated Level 4 Plans. This is done by ensuring that plans are accurate, realistic; achievable and in line with NOC’s M&I and Shutdown objectives.JOB DIMENSIONSKey role in Field Operations, to develop, maintain, challenge, and optimize Level 4 Campaign & Shutdown plans in NOC. Collaborate with all internal stakeholders (NOC departments) to ensure the optimization of planned activities.Contribute to the achievement of NOC’s Production Targets and associated revenue through optimizing the safe & efficient execution of Campaign and Shutdown activities.Establish and maintain effective relationships with external parties, functional teams as required in meeting shutdown /campaign objectives. This includes third party/specialist vendors.Utilize Critical Path Methodology, historical data, lessons learned, industry specific experience and expertise to challenge activity and plan estimates.Effectively monitor and control progress. This includes providing leading and lagging indicators such S-Curves, Daily progress reports, and daily forecasts, timelines, and remaining activities to allow informed decision making.Review Campaign and Shutdown Manpower Histograms, providing input and re-assurance that manpower estimates, and mobilization dates are in alignment with Level 4 Plans.Provide critical input into the material shipment strategy through the Level 4 plan.Provide planning close out report data and lessons learned.ACTIVITIESEnsure the specific NOC HSE procedures are always adhered to when preparing plans.Drive an Incident Free environment / mindset within the Department and with all stakeholders.Develop draft level 4 shutdown plans in alignment with key shutdown stage gates.Interface closely with offshore and onshore stakeholders ensuring a consistent and smooth transition of information and integration of plans.Collaborate with offshore campaign & shutdown supervisor and discipline supervisors to develop an optimized activity sequence and manpower histogram in alignment with the shutdown stage gate deliverables.Analyze Campaign and Shutdown sequences and produce an optimized, final level 4 shutdown plan, submitted for approval in alignment with the Shutdown Stage gates and the Shutdown Strategy.Develop reporting templates and effectively monitor and control the Shutdown/campaign during execution. This includes leading and lagging indicators such as Critical path and secondary critical path, S-Curve, DPRs, forecasts, timelines, and remaining scopes.Provide planning close out reports containing key KPI’s. These include plan attainment, and manhours consumed.Visit Offshore Sites where possible to maintain good relations and ensure information flow is maintained efficiently.All staff must be willing to participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency Response Situations if required.CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENTPosition is in a Joint Venture (JV) Operating Company on the giant Al-Shaheen oilfield, one of the largest offshore Oil & Gas Fields in the world. It is based onshore in Doha, Qatar and is a permanent staff position on a residential basis (five day working week). Regular trips offshore will be required together with visits to JV Partner and Contractor offices / facilities.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDDegree or industry recognized technical qualifications.Significant Experience in Planning (Minimum of 7- 10 years’) in the Oil & Gas industry with at least 7 years in a planning and scheduling role within Maintenance and Operations.Preferably Project Management Professional “PMP” Certified or equivalent project management training.Ability to work pro-actively under own initiative with minimum supervision.Culturally aware and able to operate in a multi-cultural environment.Versatile, resilient and able to interact effectively with peers and Senior Managers on a daily basis.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English)Excellent experience and proficiency in Primavera P6.Excellent experience and proficiency in SAP.Excellent experience and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
