This is not simply our job, it’s our passion.About The JobAs a Rooms Operation Trainer your job will be to execute and to assist the Rooms Division in managing trainings and development function of the department ensuring that all service and performance targets are achieved.Key Duties And Responsibilities Manage and facilitate departmental trainings for the Rooms Division which includes the Front Office, Concierge, VIP Services and Front Services. Ensure Standards are delivered by all team members to offer service excellence for all guests. Identifies departmental training needs and coordinate improvement plans with departmental trainers to facilitate customer service, supervisory and skills training workshops. Generates training reports monitoring the training hours in the department and making sure that all the conducted trainings are recorded according to Hotel standards. Elaborates monthly training plans for Room division, monitor and ensure that departmental trainings are conducted consistently. Keep training records up to date for all team members. Conduct on the job trainings. Ensures that all employees are fully conversant and product knowledge is up to date with the hotel’s facilities and services. Ensures and verifies that guests are receiving the best possible service available within the Front of House Operations that employees project professionalism and are well trained and provide friendly and efficient service, maintaining an atmosphere of tranquility. Assisting Operations during peak hours checking on the standards of services, cleanliness, greeting and assisting in checking in and checking out guests. Ensures all cash and foreign currency transactions are handled efficiently and appropriately. Handles Rooms Operational issues whenever required, including Front Office, Concierge, Guest Services and Front Services Departments ensuring guest satisfaction at all time. Ensure guest information is kept confidential at all the time as per resort standards. Attend daily Rooms operations meeting, morning and evening with VP Hotel Operations and share necessary information of training and development of colleagues Ensure on-going update to all work procedures and policies that best matches the culture of change in the organization. Conduct product knowledge tests to maintain colleague’s product knowledge levels Assist and prepare training plans for Internship, management trainees and new joiners’ program within Rooms Division Manage and assist cross training initiatives within Rooms Facilitate delivery of training programs as required by Learning and Development. Assigns and nominate management colleagues for off the job trainings as per requirement Ensure departmental training targets are monitored and achieved aligning with resort training targets Coordinate with Learning & Development to ensure consistency of trainings in the Rooms Division. Utilize all development plans from Individual Performance Appraisals to ensure that individual team members’ requirements are achieved, and that individual and departmental goals are followed through. Conduct and facilitate internal colleagues’ surveys for Rooms Division all year round to ensure it aligns with annual Colleague Engagement Survey Assist Departmental Trainers in their development and monitors the effectiveness of their trainings Verifies constantly that the physical product in all aspects is consistent with the hotel standards. Ensures that all policies and procedure in regard to staff appearance, hygiene and sanitation are enforced. Adhere to all Resort rules and regulations as per Service Standard Policies and procedures. Be flexible in working hours and scheduling as per business requirement. Know all safety and emergency procedures. To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy. Maintain quality documnetation Assist with other job-related tasks when requested. About YouA perfect Candidate should have a minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality training or related field. Must be service oriented individual with good decision-making capability. College degree on any related hospitality course. Excellent administration, planning and analysis skills Advance knowledge Opera- Property Management system is necessary. Strong interpersonal skills Managerial skills and decision-making responsibilities Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of employees. Accountability for delivering higher level of guest service and business result. Ability to handle different conflicts and overcome resistance Strong in leading and developing people Ability to impact and influence internal and external audience. Excellent grooming standards.
