Join us in our quest to transform learning and help individuals unleash their edge.Position OverviewGlobal Knowledge are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Technical Services business units in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. In this role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for specific aspects of monthly financial statements as well as maintenance of Technical Services Contract profitability and AR collection. The position includes now, or will include as training occurs, the following responsibilities:Position ResponsibilitiesAssist in the monthly close process as it relates to the Technical Services Business Units – follow up on assigned duties relating to the close.Report Month over Month and Quarterly variances during close process on P&L accounts for the Technical Services Business Units, including profitability at the contract level.Ensure that all AR relating to the Technical Services business is collected on time and organize monthly review meetings on the same.Review AP postings before they are posted to ensure accuracy.Review all new Technical services Contract, prepare an estimated P&L for the contract and ensure standard payment terms are included and appropriate authorisation sought for non standard terms.Assist in the Sarbanes Oxley compliance with internal & external auditor.Desired Skills And ExperienceCustomer Focused – personally demonstrated that both external and internal customers are a high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient mannerInitiative – Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for a new and productive ways to make an impactInnovative Thinking – Embraces and champions new ideas and encourages others to do likewiseBuilding Organizational Commitment – Demonstrates commitment, loyalty and appreciation for the organization.
