Job Description

Our client is a long-established Tier 1 Warehousing & Distribution specialist, they seek a highly experienced Country Manager Logistics to lead their expanding Saudi Arabia operations.Key Responsibilities:Control and Management of Sales and Operations for Logistics in KSA.Effectively manage all Logistics activities throughout KSA.Oversee the future development of the business & provide suitable solutions to individual customers to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and overall profitability.Target sectors include Pharmaceutical, eCommerce, F&B, FMCG, Cosmetics, and any other suitable sector for the companies' Warehousing and Distribution growth.Identify new customers, arrange & oversee client visits, prequalify & register as potential logistics providers within the eastern & western regions of KSA.Manage all Group customer logistics, warehousing & distribution requirements.Oversee the growth of the Warehousing and Distribution network throughout KSA.Oversee the management of the Warehousing & Distribution operations.Manage all internal warehousing & store requirements for Group companies.Act as Group focal point for Warehousing, Distribution & Stores management.Supporting internal & external customers with day-to-day requirements.Manage W&D personnel/teams effectively.Act as Key Account Manager to ensure that key & strategic customers are supported appropriately.Assist Sales personnel with the identification of new customers & the conversion of leads.Actively participate in customer sales visits where necessary to build the Warehousing & Distribution business unit.Ensure a high level of accuracy in the management of the Warehousing & Distribution activities.Provide leadership & guidance to the W&D team at all times, while acting as a senior member of the Logistics Group management team.Ensure that all operations are conducted safely at all times. Whilst ensuring that all activities are undertaken in line with policies, procedures & quality requirements.Compliance with company QA system & policies including ISO 9001 - 2015 & SQAS. Contract management & KPI responsibility. Ensure compliance with MOH/SFDA laws & regulations.Ensure that all financial policies & requirements are fully followed at all times. Responsible for W&D P&L understanding & reporting.Reporting to GM on all facets of the business and building strong relationships with Customers and Suppliers.Experience and Qualifications:10+ years of Significant experience in warehouse management and distribution operations with a proven track record of success.Bachelor's Degree /Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, logistics, or a related field.Must have good commercial understanding and knowledge of technical aspects of fleet operation and warehouse management.Leadership and relationship management, Emotional intelligence, skillfully prioritizing and managing one own and other's time, able to communicate at the Board level and Labour level. Confident in public speaking and presenting to customers.MS Office to Advanced, Middle East Logistics Experience. Experienced in goods Export / Imports, English, Written and Spoken essential.
