The main duties and responsibilities of this role:  To carry out effective off-boarding/leaving procedures for all colleagues including Processing End of Employment request via Oracle HRMS, issuing repatriation tickets, cargo relocation and other related clearance procedures Updating & maintaining Resignation Tracking System as well as headcount report accordinglyConduct reference checks for all leavers Preparation of Resignation Acceptance letters for leavers upon receiving approved resignation formsConduct exit interviews for departing colleagues and provide a summary of monthly/quarterly feedback to the Executive Committee membersAssist colleagues and give them the opportunity to discuss employment issues, career planning and progress to increase job satisfaction and improve colleagues’ performanceOversee and coordinate colleague recognition schemes within the SBU. Conducting HR induction for new joinersAdvise on HR Policy and UAE Labor Law that might impact on working practices to ensure complianceBeing the main point of contact in the department to address all grievances/conflicts/concerns raised by colleaguesCoach supervisors and assist them in Performance Management situations in order to  improve their skills  and to ensure that colleagues are treated fairlyEnsure regular and open communication is maintained with department heads/managers and candidates to ensure all stakeholders are updated on the off-boarding status at all timesCoordinate and organize HR team special events i.e birthdays, Farewell, festive season, team buildingSupport & coach individual team members to achieve personal & professional goalsImplement and evaluate Human Resources practices to maximize efficiency and effectivenessCommunicate in a professional, positive and courteous manner at all times with all levels of internal and external guestsHandle confidential matters/information with the appropriate level of sensitivityAdhere to Human Resources services standards and actively seek out new ideas to improve best customer services practices.Performs tasks accurately and efficiently while demonstrating dedication and commitment to the roleReports for duty as scheduled and on time. Demonstrates energy and enthusiasm with work. Is courteous and helpful to colleagues and guests.Takes ownership and follows through colleague requestsTo perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
