Structural Design Engineer (BIM)

Job description: Responsibilities: Develop detailed structural designs and models using BIM software (Revit) for various projects.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural design elements into overall building designs.Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications throughout the design process.Perform clash detection, model coordination, and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with other disciplines.Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in the preparation of construction documents.Support the implementation of BIM methodologies and best practices within the company.Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to communicate project progress and findings effectively. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.8-10 years of experience in structural design and modeling using BIM software.Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit).Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design efforts.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
