Legal Director- Infrastructure Investments

As Legal Director you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to our clients international infrastructure investments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing contracts, and providing strategic legal guidance to support its growth and success

Description
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on all aspects of the company's international infrastructure investments.Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and review of various contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to infrastructure operations, joint ventures, acquisitions, and partnershipsManage legal due diligence processes for potential investments and transactionsEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the jurisdictions where the company operatesCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including executives, finance, and operations teams, to provide legal support and guidanceRepresent the company in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations with external partiesStay updated on legal developments, trends, and best practices in the industryBuild and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and advisors


Profile
Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law, with a strong focus on international transactions and infrastructure investments.Previous experience working in a senior legal role within the infrastructure sector is highly desirable.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school, with a license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.Deep understanding of international business and legal frameworks, including contract law, corporate law, and international trade regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proven track record of successfully managing legal aspects of complex international transactions.Ability to work independently and lead a legal team effectively.Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
