Job Description

We seek to recruit an IS Support Specialist in a second-level support role responsible for providing customer technical support and operational and administrative support for IS functions in the assigned office(s). The assigned person will actively maintain and improve the timeliness and quality of IS support provided to all customer constituencies within the assigned office(s).Responsibilities and functions within the assigned office(s) include, but are not limited to:Providing world-class customer service to our lawyers and office personnel.Execute the effective and timely delivery of IS services.Interact effectively with all customer constituencies.Maintain the operational availability of all computer-related equipment and IS resources including laptops, desktops, printers, servers, data communication equipment, network infrastructure, telephone equipment, and audio-visual systems.Deploy computers and related equipment promptly to meet the daily operational requirements.Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment, including setting up equipment used to enhance live events, such as laptops, projectors, screens, and microphones.Respond to conference room attendee technology requests and needs, and troubleshoot problems utilizing standard troubleshooting tools.Perform effectively as a second-level technical resource to resolve customer problems and provide technical leadership to other local IS resources.Perform, maintain, and adhere to Firm-wide and departmental policies, standards, operational guidelines, and administrative procedures relating to IS function.Encourage and promote teamwork between local, regional, and Global Services IS resources.Promote and maintain the effective utilization of firm-provided software applications by internal customer constituencies.Participate as an active team member on IS projects to which assigned.Provide technical support and assistance outside of normal business hours as required, including, but not limited, to Fridays and Saturdays.Travel to the Firm’s local IDC as requested (where applicable).Experience And KnowledgeExperience providing support in a Windows 10 and 11 environment.Experience providing support on Microsoft Office products, particularly Word/Outlook. Office 365 experience is helpful.Experience supporting Smartphone devices.Experience providing IS support in a Legal or Professional Services environment.Microsoft professional certification and/or four-year college degree in a computer-related discipline preferred.SkillsStrong customer service skills.Strong verbal, interpersonal, and team skills (Arabic and English language required).Good written skills.
