Role Overview:What you will be doing:Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled (and aged where appropriate) every month either by Shared Services or within the department, and ensuring that reconciling items are dealt with promptlyMaintaining provisions and accruals as needed in accordance with requirementsReconciling and applying payroll costsEnsure sound financial controls are in place and working effectively in line with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.Work towards continuous improvement to develop best practiceEnsuring all Statutory & Tax Requirements are metLiaising With Auditors & Other Advisors As RequiredSupporting the Global Controller as necessary in resolving Product Support issuesSkills & Qualifications:Systems Knowledge - Microsoft Office, JDE, SAP & HFM experienceGood analytical skills & Problem SolverAction Oriented - A flexible thinker and worker who is goal drivenDedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the organisationStrong business acumen with an emphasis on an ability to leverage technical expertise to ensure efficient financial compliance.Management/supervisory experience with an ability to work (in a team environment) with multiple teams from various aspects of the business.Ability & judgment to plan; organize and accomplish goals.Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills along with great presentation skills.Willingness to tackle and resolve issuesAbility to interface with all levels of management and employeesFrom time to time the successful candidate may be required by the Company to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description, but are within the capabilities of the individual and, where necessary, training will be given
