MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:To monitor and manage building and equipment maintenance, improvements and upgrades for the business unit in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:To monitor and manage the daily maintenance of facility and equipment in line with quality and accreditation standardsTo manage clinic and hospital expansion projects including department alterations, fit-out and interior enhancements or upgrades and related construction in line with company standardsTo lead and manage the engineering teamTo monitor and manage quality improvement standards and compliance with accreditation standards including overseeing relevant auditsManage the daily operations of the department that includes financial and budget managementImplement preventative maintenance standards and guidelines to ensure optimal patient safety and prevent financial risk for the companyManage and lead the facility health and safety committee and related governance and complianceREQUIRED EDUCATION:A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:At least 5 years' experience in a senior or supervisory position within healthcare/hospitalsREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Application of sound budgeting and financial planning and management principlesClient service and related management principlesContract tender processesHealth and safety regulations and best practiceProject management principles and related risk assessment methodologiesTypical hospital equipmentRelevant JCIA and other related governance and regulatory standardsAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
