The Role: EHS EngineerPURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong background in EHS practices, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Duties And Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To) Stay updated of local and global EHS regulations and ensure organizational compliance including develop and implement programs to address regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation, implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential incidents, Coordinate drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness. Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses; Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and document local EHS procedures, aligning them with global policies, and maintaining a comprehensive record of EHS documentation for reference and audits. Establish and implement an EHS Management System in alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO14001. Develop and oversee waste management programs to minimize environmental impact. Proven experience in EHS roles with a focus on regulatory compliance. Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures. Familiarity with emergency response planning and incident investigation. Track record of successfully developing and implementing EHS programs.
