JOB TITLESecurity ManagerDEPARTMENTSecurityREPORTING TO Senior Security ManagerJOB Overview The Security Manager should have a minimum of five years’ experience within the security industry, preferably with management experience. He should be familiar with security industry ‘best practice’ and have experience within large and fast paced transport environments.The security manager will assist the Senior Security Manager with the oversight of the Operations and Maintenance Contractors’ development and implementation of all related security policies, systems and procedures associated with the Metro System, ensuring all comply with any Saudi legislative requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESMonitor the Riyadh Metro Security Control ProceduresManagement of the Operations & Maintenance Contractors security, surveillance, access control and intruder control across the NetworkOversee and advise on Security risks and associated mitigationConducting regular security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvementAssessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches, and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate themCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projectsQualificationsPreferably holds a bachelor’s degree, or be able to demonstrate relevant work experience in security or related fieldExperience of working within large, fast-moving organizationGood problem-solving skillsExperience of incident investigation and root cause analysisGood written & communication skills, with the ability to write accurate and clear reportsExperience of Health & Safety at workEmergency Management experienceExperience of supervising subordinate security professionals, performing activities such as training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or discipliningPERSON SPECIFICATIONKnowledge & ExperienceCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans and proceduresMinimum 5 years in the security industryManagement and or supervisory experienceThe ability to mentor other security staffPlanning of security eventsSkills & AptitudesTeam workingExcellent Communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational skillClient management skillsLeadership skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAdditional Project RequirementsVery good spoken EnglishVery good written EnglishAbility to adapt to changing security threats and technologiesPERSONAL QUALITIESCommitted and reliableAccustomed to working to tight deadlinesAbility to work with multiple prioritiesManaging project deadlines
