Basic FunctionThe scope is to perform Maintenance and Repair Services with qualified manpower for all mechanical related activities at Company facilities, maintaining high availability and reliability under the direction and supervision of ADNOC Industrial Gases personals on full time basis to carry out the routine / breakdown maintenance works during normal working hours, call outs during off hours, weekends, holidays and un planned outages.ResponsibilitiesImplement the developed scheduled maintenance on relevant equipment and ensure all work history and data is entered into the CMMS system, such as SAP.Proficient in performing shaft alignments for all rotating equipment such as pumps, gearboxes,blowers, compressors and turbines using the laser alignment or dial indicatorsTo perform troubleshooting and performing overhauls on pumps, such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.To perform troubleshooting and performing overhauls such as centrifugal and positive displacement compressors steam turbines, turbo expanders, blowers, fans, fin fan coolers, heat exchangers, vessels, columns, valves etc.,Trouble shooting API standards for various mechanical seal plans.Proficient in the installation of dry gas and wet gas seals.To perform all CMs and PMs on rotary equipment, in accordance with SAP.To perform HSECES PMs for all equipment, in accordance with SAP.To follow the flange management procedure, using the required torquing or tensioning tools.To perform flange alignment, pipe fitting and replacement of all sizes and types of gaskets onsite.To perform troubling shooting, removal and the installation of all different type of valves onsite.Ensure to complete all relevant check sheets for all equipment onsite.To perform confine space work as per the job requirement.To perform work under air (using SCBA) in the RED ZONE and certain yellow zone areas of the Plant.To assist Operations in the preparation of TASKs in accordance with the PTW requirements, such activities are blinding, de- blinding and hose connection for purging.Shall report all unsafe acts and conditions to the relevant parties.Shall report all injuries, incidents and accidents to the relevant parties.Shall follow all mechanical procedures and policies for all equipment onsite.Shall require to work extend hours as per the instruction of ADNOC AIG representatives.Shall to work emergency, unplanned and scheduled outages.Shall require to work on heights and on scaffolding.To attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activitiesTo identify spare parts required for maintenance workTo observe operation abnormalities and report any defects to relevant supervisor.To train and develop the assigned staff with emphasis to UAE nationalsThe prospective Candidate must have a good command of the English language, and displayed excellent team spiritPersonal AttributesShould be familiar with working practises in Oil and Gas Industry with highest attention to HSE.Knowledge to operate of machinery and handle tools required to perform work.Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure smooth operation at site.Flexible and hardworking nature whilst displaying integrity at all times.Desired QualificationDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or certificate in Mechanical or equivalent Engineering DisciplineRequired Experience (Mandatory): 5 years' experience in the maintenance of tonnage Air Separation Units , Krypton-Xenon Production and cylinder filling plant maintenance etc. Experience in overhauling and maintenance of Oxygen service equipment's (Liquid Oxygen Pumps, Expansion Turbine etc) Working knowledge in SAP (Material Management and EAM Module).Experience in the maintenanceof large (> 30 MW) Axial Radial flow compressors, Large Barrel type compressors (> 25 MW).CompetenciesGood Command of English knowledge, written and spoken.Physical strength to work in hot and humid conditions (onshore and offshore)Good Hand-Eye coordination.Taurus Contractors (www.tauruscontractors.com) offers a broad range of recruitment and staffing services, which include expatriate and local specialists, engineers and technical personnel on contract and permanent hire.
