Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.We are looking for a F&B Supervisor to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a F&B Supervisor in a busy restaurant or hotel luxury environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and good service; then we want to hear from you!What we offer you as a F&B Supervisor:One of the most competitive salaries in the countryComplimentary meals on dutyAmazing learning and development programsDiscounted rates at The Ned DohaFantastic career growth opportunitiesA F&B Supervisor working with us entails the following:To deputize the Manager in attending all meetings required according to meetings scheduleTo assist the Manager in implementing SOP throughout the restaurantTo respond proactively to guest queries and to ensure appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager, followed by effective communicationTo report and follow up all maintenance defaults effecting efficient and professional delivery of serviceTo ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified throughout their meal experienceTo communicate with head chef in order to share information and ensure smooth running of serviceTo ensure that mise en place positioning is completed accurately and monitored to ensure that appropriate stocks are availableTo prepare table plans according to reservations and to ensure that tables are constantly cleared and reset according to the reservation planTo meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient mannerTo take guest food and beverage requirements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service deliveryTo prepare and present accurate billsTo display exemplary knowledge of all food and beverage items servedTo ensure service and Back of House areas are kept clean at all times and work will be conducted according to our Health and Safety standardsTo handle administrative duties, i.e. payroll, holidays, rotas in accordance with hotel policies and proceduresTo ensure service is delivered according to our ValuesTo handle guest comments and complaints in the appropriate manner and communicate to Restaurant ManagementTo ensure that relevant grooming standards adhered to, both personally and by the team, reflecting a professional image for our guestsQualifications:Previous experience in a similar role in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotelPassionate, motivated with exceptional customer care skillsAble to respond effectively to customer complaints ensuring the necessary information is given to the right peopleWell organised, adaptable and flexible to work varied hoursGood level of written and spoken EnglishFriendliness, efficiency and a ‘can-do’ attitude are what people have come to expect when they visit us and our success will depend on your willingness to go that extra mile.
