Move forward, move fast.Job DescriptionAn exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Informa Connect Academy's Training Production Team in the Dubai office.The Training Producer will be responsible for validating and developing existing and new courses for the public training portfolios. The role offers a great opportunity to nurture and grow the various verticals that form the training portfolios in the Middle East, North Africa as well as the UK and Australia. Ideal candidates will have already excelled as Producers managing training products and learning solutions around all or some of the following verticals: HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Audit, Risk Management, Compliance and Governance, Leadership Skills, Strategy Management, Data Analysis, and Business Management Skills - for corporates and professionals.You will be responsible fordeveloping and creatingengaged communitiesby producing powerful content for physical and digital initiatives such as webinars, training courses, videos, and newsletters.Drive the development of the training portfolios to meet ambitious growth targetsConduct extensive research to validate and launch training topics to ensure that all new courses are relevant to the industry and fast-paced nature of today’s businessesCreate a schedule of cutting-edge training programmes addressing the ever-evolving learning needs of professionals across industriesResearch, interview, select, and negotiate with subject matter experts to deliver training coursesWork closely with subject matter experts/trainers to define course curriculum along with well-articulated learning objectivesAdvise subject matter experts/trainers to design learning material using instructional design skills for in-person training as well as e-learning coursesWrite engaging content contributing to the development of content plans for each portfolio,Seek out and implement innovative learning formats, features and ideas that will drive revenue and customer engagement across all coursesDevelop a strong network of industry leaders to be seen as a peer within your sector and to attract the best trainers to deliver our coursesIdentify, research, and facilitate partnerships with globally recognised associations (universities and certification bodies)Project manage the delivery of the courses in liaison with the Operations TeamsEnsure profitability of the courses through effective project and cost managementDeliver sales and marketing briefings to the wider teams to ensure they understand the objectives and USPs when pitching to delegates/learners and decision makersWork with the head of production to develop year-round strategies that will increase the commerciality of the training and content we produceReview performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure portfolio productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectivenessKPIsDelegate attendance and revenueTimely delivery and quality of training coursesStrategy development and deliveryReporting & CommunicationMaintain transparent communication between internal and external stakeholdersEffectively communicate information in department meetings, one-on-one catch ups, and regular interpersonal communication channelsWork closely with the marketing department to ensure quality of delegates/learners on the courses by reviewing data selection and ensuring quality data build for new courses and geosIdentify and liaise with key thought leaders, institutions, and companies within each vertical – for product development and conversations around growth deliverablesBehavioural CompetenciesAbility to work as part of a close-knit teamFlexible when on occasions asked to perform tasks outside of the overall remitCustomer focussedResults-drivenStrong planning and self-organising skillsEffective communication skills at all levels, both externally and internallyAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to multi-taskInnovativeInfluence and persuasion skillsCultural awareness and sensitivityTrustworthy and discreet with sensitive informationQualificationsBackground Knowledge, Skills & Experience Educated to degree level or equivalentPrevious training production and content writing experience in Middle Eastern marketsStrong data, dashboard reporting and analytical skills (using Excel and other platforms)Previous experience working with an LMSInstructional design, course curriculum, and training design skillsTelephone and desk research skillsExperience of working in a deadline driven environmentAbility to work under pressure and within competing prioritiesHigh-level competency in writing strong sales-driven copy in EnglishStrong project management and organisational skillsEntrepreneurial/commercial aptitudeAdditional InformationJust as no two days are the same, at Informa Connect we recognise that no two people are the same, putting diversity and inclusivity at the heart of what we do.
