Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker’s, Grind, Somewhere and Public.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking to hire a self-starter and dynamic individual for the role of Procurement Manager (food multi category). Based from our HQ in Dubai, this role will be responsible for all procurement-related activities for the UAE. Some of the key responsibilities include:Responsible for selecting best price quotations, focusing on quality and reliabilityQueries and clarifies any concerns regarding received purchase requests with the relevant stakeholdersSuccessfully lead and develop the team of Procurement and Sourcing SpecialistsResponsible for verifying and follow up on all pending orders (approved & under approval) through system reportsTo be considered for this role, you will need to have had a minimum of 10 years' experience working in the F&B industry, either in manufacturing or restaurants, with a track record managing SKUs in fast-moving items.
