OverviewThe Senior Specialist - Business Analysis is a key person in the team focusing on collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Building on our capabilities as sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industries.Responsibilities Collaborate with customers, product managers, software developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for cloud computing and AI products. Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and study customer needs to identify opportunities for new products or features. Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements and user stories for both vendor-built software solutions and internal infrastructure build and software development projects. Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs, ensuring alignment with product objectives and technical feasibility. Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and other documentation to communicate requirements effectively. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify scope, and resolve issues, maintaining clear communication and collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle. Analyze and evaluate existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation in cloud computing and AI product development. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, operations, support) and external vendors to ensure successful product implementation and integration. Conduct user acceptance testing, validate product requirements, and ensure quality standards are met. Continuously monitor and analyze product performance, usage metrics, and customer feedback to identify areas for optimization and improvement. Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud computing, AI, and business analysis, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to drive innovation and excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business analysis in the software or cloud computing industry, with a strong understanding of cloud computing and AI technologies and products. Demonstrated expertise in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements and user stories for product development, including both vendor-built and internal solutions. Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, and Confluence, in a product development environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns and trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business value and customer satisfaction through innovative cloud computing and AI solutions. Knowledge of product management, industry standards, best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements is a plus. Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
