Whatever your career path or specialism Apex provides a global platform to allow you to thrive.Your Main ResponsibilitiesPerforming requisite AML-related risk-based assessments and due diligence checks on new and existing clients.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds' specifications.Handling communications with clients for on-boarding of new clients and obtaining approval of compliance / senior management. This includes funds switching from another administrator.Liaising with the Compliance Officer on AML-related matters on existing clients.Ensuring international client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis.Reviewing of Funds’ offering documents and transactions agreements (subscription, redemption, transfer, switch) in line with Apex best practice standard and communication with legal counsel and/or client.Proofreading of service agreements and drafting of SLA.Arranging and/or monitoring the opening of bank, custody and brokerage accounts and liaising with third party service providers.Registering FFI with the IRS and obtaining GIIN.Arranging for ISIN and LEI with relevant authorities.Coordinating with operations for the transition of new funds to ‘Live’ mode.Ongoing development of the business by liaising with the senior management and ensuring full communication from bottom up and implementation of new processes and controls as required.Arranging and managing termination of services.Overseeing junior staff awareness and training on onboarding matters.Handling ad-hoc internal projects to strengthen internal process.Your Skills(To comply with the regulatory requirements, only Saudi nationals will be considered for this role)An individual with a bachelor/master’s degree qualification or equivalent.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions.An ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience on Paxus or another fund accounting software is considered an advantage).A good knowledge of the funds industry, experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage, Project management skills. Be comfortable/competent in dealing with fund structuring issues, legal terminology, and fund services agreements. Knowledge of Client KYC and Legal contract management is an advantage.Be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work semi-supervised supporting a fast-paced dynamic business.Possess team spirit and enthusiasm with the capacity to build strong client relationships.Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and a truly client servicing mindset.Professional level of English (spoken and written), Arabic speaker will be an advantage. What You Can ExpectWe are looking for a Client Onboarding Manager to work with a top tier financial services provider. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with a good knowledge of the funds industry looking to develop their skills further. The position is very much client facing and will involve client meetings. Additionally, the position will involve a high level of interaction with all functional areas within the Fund administration.PerformanceThe successful candidate will be expected to work on his / her own initiative to successfully onboard new fund launches and conversions and ensure a positive onboarding experience for clients.
