About The RoleWe are looking for a Growth Manager focused on scaling Uber Shuttle in Cairo. This is a particularly challenging and rewarding role with huge opportunities but also lots of challenges in light of intense competition and complex market dynamics.The Growth Manager role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on your city through the growth and optimization of the rider population on Uber's platform. This is a critical role within the org as you would play a key in driving the overall demand strategy and acquisition framework for Uber Shuttle across MEA. You will be responsible for the execution of the demand strategy to drive rider awareness, education, stickiness, adoption and growth. You will be working on Uber's top priority product and biggest Bold Bets, primarily focusing on Growth for HCV.What Will The Candidate Do You will work with various CRM & Marketing counterparts to: create and measure growth tactics, effectively communicate our brand, and grow our business. Design and lead all our in and out of app growth and marketing efforts Track key analytics and provide actionable information and insights to influence marketing strategy moving forward. Build effective channels of communication with riders to ensure optimal rider experience What will the candidate need: Startup/all-hands-on-deck approach. 4-5 years of growth / marketing / applied economics or related experience Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation Problem solving approach; ability to identify problems, determine the correct analysis to assess them and come up with solutions Strong project management skills Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to operate autonomously Strong Excel and SQL knowledge and a passion for data needed Familiarity with the transportation industry and 3rd party delivery Python Proficiency is an added advantage You're a self-starter and take initiative to seize opportunities
