Job Description
Job Purpose:The role holder is responsible to maintain accurate and reliable records of parts in inventory. Monitors reorder points and initiate action to replenish stocks. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies Assistant Inventory manager, or management, of irregularities.Core Responsibilities:Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.Tracks orders and execute orders to suppliers.Forecasting monthly ordersTracks orders and investigates problems.Records purchases, maintains inventory database, creating report needed for stock control.Processes invoices for payment.Processes and documents return as required following established procedures.Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting internal customers.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Self-Management Responsibilities:Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Parts Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Parts Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
