Job DescriptionsFollow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time deliveryAssist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customers’ quality and budget requirementsMaintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and productionArrange sample submission to customers for approvalHandle merchandising related documentsDraft sample instruction, check sample yarn and dimensionNegotiate price & timeline, prepare cost sheet and T&ACo-operate with Design Team in product development and provide information about yarn, accessories and production situationUpdate market situation with Design TeamManage of development and orders, follow up production and the delivery time framesPrice negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectivenessCommunicate and prepare meeting with suppliers/buyers for USA customersResponsible for fabrics sourcing and development of high end ladies wearSet up and run a central fabrics libraryBased on seasonal concepts and theme to recommend fabrics collection to designers / customersManage the sourcing business of the US based customerUnderstand the customer needs and requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategyEnsure that shipping and sampling shelves are stocked at all timesDistribute completed sample requests to the appropriate managersPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementRequirementsExperience in US MarketDiploma or Above in Merchandising or related fieldMinimum 5 years' relevant experienceStrong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development processAble to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail mindedAbility to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external partiesWell organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlinesExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishLiterate in Microsoft office programsOccasional travel is requiredIf this sounds like you, Apply Now!As an equal opportunity employer, we shall consider all applicants regardless of gender, age, religion, marital status, race, sexual orientation, disability, disease, pregnancy, or trade union and/or political affiliation, and disregard all factors deemed inappropriate by local law and the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
