Junior Investment Banking Associate

Role Overview:Dubai, United Arab EmiratesRequisition ID: 6640233What you will be doing: Strategising and development of investment thesis on potential opportunities Preparation of investment slide decks and financial modeling of private credit opportunities Presentation and marketing of investment proposals to senior management, investors, and business partners Work with legal, financial, and other consultants on fundraising and deals Continuous investment management of private debt / venture debt / venture capital investments, in terms of forecasting and monitoring financial returns Help build analytical tools for trade screening and idea generation (mainly on Excel and Python)What do you need to succeed? Corporate / investment banking, finance / accounting, or transaction services industry experience, ideally with exposure to leveraged and acquisition finance, private equity / investment, or the broader structured finance environment. Less experienced candidates will be considered for an Analyst role Strong capability in financial modelling, credit analysis and credit presentation, with an understanding and ability to structure complex event driven transactions Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills to ensure ability to manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with ability to interact at a senior and strategic level
