Job Title: Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation—Saudi ArabiaJob RoleAs a Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop, implement and monitor treatment plans for patients with physical disabilities, injuries, and chronic illnesses.Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the physical therapy and rehabilitation needs of patients Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history and goals Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including exercise, massage, manual therapy, and electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore function Monitor and document patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on the importance of compliance with treatment plans and self-care techniques Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment Stay abreast of new developments and advancements in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation and incorporate them into patient care strategies Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation technicians Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures in the department Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progressRequirements Medical degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus) Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment Experience in a multicultural setting is preferredWhy join Allocation Assist Middle East?
