If you are not contacted by us within that time, please consider your application unsuccessful on this occasion.***Key aspects of the role include:Responsible for auditing the market risk department to identify potential areas of concern.Evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of market risk measurement and monitoring systems including Value at Risk models.Prepare detailed reports related to the company’s market risk exposure for monitoring and evaluation of key risk indicators.Participate and contribute to the ongoing development of audit methodologies and tools.Assess new regulatory policies and their impact on market risk exposures.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards related to market risk management.Perform other data analytic-related tasks.To be successful you will need to meet the following:Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Mathematics or equivalent. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA, FRM) preferred.Professional qualification in Market Risk Analysis/Management is advantageous.At least 5 years’ experience at supervisor/junior managerial level in the market risk department within the Banking Industry.
