Job Description
- Prepare Conceptual, Preliminary, and Detailed Plumbing and Firefighting design drawings complete with Technical Reports and Engineering Calculations using all relevant software.
- Prepare the design works for the project in accordance with international standards and local codes/regulations.
- Prepare Plumbing and Firefighting calculations.
- Familiar with NFPA, IPC, BS, ASPE, and ASHRAE standards.
- Prepare Data Sheets, Systems Comparison Reports, and Bill of Quantities.
- Prepare selection of plumbing and firefighting equipment and size the mechanical rooms.
- Ensure effective coordination with other disciplines such as Architectural, Electrical and Structural Engineering.
Job Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- BSc. in Mechanical Power Engineering.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Autodesk Revit (is a must), CAD and Microsoft office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English language (speaking, reading and writing).
- Professional in using Elite software.
- Design experience is a must, construction experience is a plus.
- Familiar with local authority requirements and regulations.
- Familiar with international Codes and Standards.
