Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing online marketing campaigns across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing technology and a strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Strategies:
- Create and execute marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
- Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
Content Creation and Management:
- Produce engaging and relevant content for the company’s website, blog, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
SEO and SEM:
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Use Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other tools to track, analyze, and optimize campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve future campaigns.
Email Marketing:
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, targeting, and personalization.
- Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and oversee the company’s social media presence.
- Design, build, and maintain the company's social media profiles and presence.
- Engage with customers and followers to foster community and respond to queries.
Paid Advertising:
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns.
- Manage and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on Google AdWords and other platforms.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools such as Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, Hootsuite, MailChimp, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Creative and strategic mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Certification in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, or similar.
Work Environment:
- May require occasional travel for meetings, conferences, or training sessions.
