Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Logistics Sales/commercial + Invoicing and cash collection from customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Send sales quotation to customers to secure new clients/trips to MSC Fleet and Build strong relationships with customers and prepare monthly sales plan to be tracked - Negotiate rates and contract with clients and agents - Plan sales visits and follow guidelines to meet targets.
  • React promptly to the request received from the clients. - Maintain high level of communication and co-operation with the operation department and the customers
  • Create monthly sales plan helps to be proactive and maintain market share and business volume.
  • Handling and Maintain Sub-contractors’ trips.
  • report cost and revenue per container (TMS).
  • Assist on yearly forecast business plan.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting team to issue the invoices by the trucking rate, delay, and any other costs.
  • Revise the issued invoices including the official receipt.
  • Deliver the invoices to the client either by mail, courier or to the delegated person.
  • Follow up the outstanding and settlement amount according to the due date.
  • Support the Finance dept. with collection of outstanding for all sales activities.
  • Maintain a high level of communication and co-operation with the operation Dept. and other customers.
  • Investigate customer claims and complaints regarding the invoices and provide responses.
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer payment commitment.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal Depts.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Skills:

  • Excellent English skills – written and spoken.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Persuasion, influential and negotiation skills, problem solving, excellent project management.
  • High level of commitment with the ability to work under pressure.

Experience: 

  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, and custom clearance.
