Job Description
Marketing Executive, Social & Earned Media
RESPONSIBILITIES:
PR, SOCIAL & EARNED MEDIA:
- Develop and manage social media strategy on all social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
- Lead social first campaigns via cultural moments, marketing in the moment and key campaign initiatives
- Recommend content calendar that aligns with brand calendar and strategic brand vision
- Collaborate with creative agencies and Social Media Supervisor for ideation and timely production of all approved social creative assets
- Ensure maximum effectiveness by staying up-to-date with any changes on all social platforms
- Establish annual goals, objectives and track performance with reporting and analytics including acquisition, engagement and brand sentiment
- Community management oversight, including management and tracking of guest sentiment
- Follow crisis management process, including quick management of any situation; follow pre-determined escalation process in crisis management situations
- Work with PR agency partner to develop PR and Earned opportunities at both a National and local levels
- Lead Press Release strategic architecture and material development
- Oversee photo shoots, to obtain social media assets
INFLUENCER CAMPAIGNS:
- Be knowledgeable in influencer campaigns and planning, including contract and pricing management.
- Plan and review content once produced, provide feedback, and manage implementation.
- Monitor influencer campaigns to engage and amplify content.
- Manage strategic influencer plans to support key programs and initiatives.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA degree in Marketing, New Media, or minimum of 8 years in a related field
- Previous experience working as a senior capacity within Social Media or similar role (minimum of 4 years)
- Knowledge and expertise with multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
- Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention detail.
- Must have experience copywriting.
- Must be able to demonstrate interest and knowledge of restaurant industry.
- Must be able to proactively prioritize business needs and effectively manage resources.
- Familiar with marketing channels and online marketing strategies
- Familiar with Social Media publishing tools
- Ability to grasp digital technology trends and act on them proactively.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong analytical skills
