Job Description
- Developing and implementing a high-quality, engaging curriculum aligned with national standards and the school's mission.
- Overseeing daily educational programs and activities, fostering a stimulating learning environment.
- Evaluating and assessing children's progress, identifying strengths and areas for development.
- Ensuring the curriculum is documented and the kindergarten's program is planned, implemented, and evaluated.
- Implementing best practices through quality and innovative curricula and programs, with ongoing observation, sharing, and mentoring of staff.
- Mentoring and supporting teachers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Building and managing the kindergarten academic team, ensuring high standards and performance.
- Inducting, retaining, and developing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Ensuring the well-being, safety, and security of all children.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with parents, providing information and addressing concerns.
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of individual students, taking appropriate action when needed.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in leadership roles, particularly within an American International School, is highly valued.
- Experience in a KG or Foundation stage environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff.
