Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated AP Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all payable functions, vendor reconciliations, invoice processing, and ensuring smooth payment operations while maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process supplier invoices
- Record daily entries related to AP transactions
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable
- Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payments
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to match POs with invoices and receipts
- Monitor aging reports and prepare payment schedules
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., WHT, VAT)
- Assist in monthly closing activities and reporting
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0–1 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in manufacturing or industrial companies
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations related to AP
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Preferably residing near or in Giza City
