Job Description
- Implementing systems and procedures and enforcing internal controls.
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, Zakat and taxes.
- Responsible for delivering timely and accurate daily and weekly financial processing, month-end close, financial reports.
- Maintains an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
- Manage the accounting team and encourage and guide them in order to make their performance more effective and to enhance their self-perception and problem-solving skills.
- Work with all departments to ensure timely billing and cash receipt processing.
- Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
- Make sure that transactions are correct and mitigate any risk.
- Make sure that the Trial Balance is well reflecting the position of the company.
- Prepare Financial Statement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years’ relevant experience in Travel and Tourism accounting.
- Excellent English and Arabic – reading & writing.
- Previous experience as an Accounting & Financial Manager.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- Experience with TRAACS system is preferred.
