Job Description
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in the day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
- Bring accounts to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks on the posting process
- Prepare and complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records, and generate financial reports and statements
- Handle accounts receivable/payable and process payroll on time
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Solid understanding of general ledger (GL), basic bookkeeping, and accounting principles (A/P and A/R)
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records accurately
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Good understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel in particular)
- Oracle system experience is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting
- Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing sector is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce , Accounting
