Job Description
- Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (CCNA) or equivalent experience in networking.
- Solid understanding of network protocols such as BGP, VLAN services and Qos.
- Proficiency in using network monitoring tools.
- Installation and configuration of network hardware such as (Arista, Cisco) routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Familiarity with various types of cables (fiber optic, etc.) and transceivers (SFP, SFP+, QSFP, etc.) for network connectivity.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, even under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6) and Internet IP Transit.
Job Requirements
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience
- CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
