Job Description
- Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
- Study and calculate raw materials for manufacturing requests
- Assist the department head in calculating raw materials for different requests, controlling inventory, and exploiting stagnant and waste materials
- Communicate with stores and ensure that the required disbursement requests from production match those sent from raw material planning
- Inform stores and production of alternatives for raw materials and modify them with them based on the raw materials actually purchased
- Communicate with production and ensure that all possible waste materials are used before approving the disbursement of raw materials from stores
- Review stagnant items and prepare a report on them and submit proposals for their optimal use
- Study stored items and create demand limits for frequently used items and periodically review the demand limit
- Prepare reports on the status of raw materials to help avoid any deficit and help in their optimal use.
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
- Document orders, materials and any stock movements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Production Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in the field of metal and engineering industries
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
- Good communication skills
- Ability to suggest solutions to urgent problems related to raw materials
- Familiar with the technical details of sheet metal works.
- Excellent in using Excel and ERP system.
