Job Description

Job Title: Product Manager Reporting to:  Marketing Manager

Job Description

  • Role and Responsibilities
  • Medical and Product Education to the product specialists and the sales force:
  • Conduct all medical and product trainings to the product specialists including induction training and refreshment trainings
  • Responsible for the medical and product validation tests for the product specialists and sales force.
  • Deliver medical and product trainings to the sales team along with the product specialist and the sales managers.
  • Have a clear plan for the needed international trainings whether inside or outside Egypt and co-ordinate with the sales managers for the training need analysis of the Sales force team.
  • Review and consolidate all the Gathered needed data about the competitors and ensure their delivery to the Sales Force team (competitors’ knowledge)
  • Maintains product knowledge to staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training of new employees.
  • Branding and positioning:
  • Marketing strategies for each quarter:
  • Analyzing market data including potentiality, competition, surgeons’ habits & needs.
  • Decide the focus products for each quarter with a clear sales call flow indicating features and benefits with the product specialist and sales managers
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of the segmentation to ensure proper coverage for the surgeons
  • Planning and executing the Annual Marketing plans.
  • Finalizing the annual marketing plans with the sales managers and reviewing them quarterly for any updates
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of all events in it along with the marketing team including the National & International events, one day workshops, Cadaveric workshops, Symposiums, etc.
  • Managing marketing projects & activities all over Egypt CRM:
  • Ensuring the implementation of the CRM system and constant initiatives that enhances the customer satisfaction along with the product specialists.
  • Social media management:
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of social media campaigns & presence of the product on different digital platforms
  • Ensuring the alignment of all campaigns on all social media channels
  • Creating digital campaigns for the product
  • Managing the product website with all its needed
  • Data Analysis:
  • Creating the monthly detailed Sales Analysis report
  • Ensuring the proper segmentation and updating them quarterly
  • Creating the coverage reports of the surgeons and their growth curves on the adoption ladder
  • Consolidating the final sales force reporting system report that is to be sent to the HR for further uses
  • Creating surgeon’s satisfaction surveys & reports
  • Budget control:
  • Finalize all the annual marketing budgets for all business units assigned
  • Reviewing the budgets quarterly and re-allocating them if needed
  • Monitoring all the monthly expenses of each business unit
  • Monitoring the ROI of each event and expenses
  • Stock control and order placement:
  • Monitoring the stock levels of product
  • Creating the annual order plans based on demand plan and market forecast
  • Creating all the needed orders along with the sales managers
  • Communicating with the regulatory department and To ensure that the products will be cleared from the customs within the optimum time
  •  Creating the needed stock and consumption reports.
  • Performs other related duties as may be required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with Medical University as medicine, veterinary, pharmacy, relevant medical background
  • 5 - 7 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
