Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer & QS
Location: Cairo
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented mechanical design engineer become quantity surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating precise technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD & Revit softwares and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed mechanical drawings(drainage , water supply , Hvac , fire fighting , coordination plans ) using CAD and Revit software.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Update and revise existing drawings to reflect design changes or new information.
- Maintain records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents.
- Ensure all designs comply with the standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications.
- Specify materials and components required for the design, considering cost, availability, and performance.
- Devolop a detailed bill of quantities based on project drawings and specifications.
- proficiency in construction costing software and methods.
Qualifications:
- experience as a mechanical desing engineer : 6 years.
- Proficiency in CAD & Revit software
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
