Job Description
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues to our users.
- Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
- Create and verify data backups
- Respond to help desk requests and resolve technical issues
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
- Review application logs
- Install and test computer-related equipment
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
- Upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
- Configure / add new services as required
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of engineering /computer science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role
- Extensive experience with VMware vSphere, DHCP, DNS.
- Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Basic understanding of insurance goals and practices.
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Solid Knowledge Microsoft Windows OS.
- Linux Experience is preferred
- Firewall experience, Specially FortiGate is a must .
- Microsoft SQL DB, Oracle DB is preferred
- Symantec End Point
- Solid Knowledge of networking, CCNA is must.
- Very good English skills
- Excellent communication skills
