Job Description
We are looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in political campaigns or public advocacy to create compelling, on-brand visuals that communicate political messages clearly and powerfully. The ideal candidate understands how to design for impact, mobilize public sentiment, and maintain visual consistency across fast-paced, high-stakes political communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design social media graphics, posters, banners, flyers, and infographics for political campaigns and messaging.
- Create branded visuals for events, speeches, press releases, and digital ads.
- Work closely with the communication and social media teams to deliver timely and relevant graphics.
- Adapt visual content for multiple platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube thumbnails, etc.).
- Ensure consistency in branding, fonts, colors, and overall visual identity of the campaign or candidate.
- Support rapid response efforts by producing fast-turnaround visuals for breaking news or statements.
- Contribute to campaign strategy with creative ideas and visual storytelling.
- Maintain a strong archive and asset library for ongoing design needs.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with at least 1–2 years in political or advocacy design work.
- Strong portfolio showcasing political campaign work, advocacy materials, or public-facing designs.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and tools like Canva.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure political environment.
- Strong understanding of color psychology, layout, and design for persuasion and emotion.
- Awareness of social and political sensitivities, especially in public messaging.
