Job Description
This is not an immediate vacancy, we are currently talent pooling.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage every stage of the production flow, from purchasing the raw materials to the delivery of the final product
- Manage strategic purchasing activities, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance
- Develop procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers in collaboration with other departments such as procurement or engineering
- Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality
- Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the field
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, logistics, business administration or any related field, AUC or AAST is preferred
- 7 to 10 years of experience in the supply chain field
- Excellent English
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of supply chain processes
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
