Job Description
The IT Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our technology infrastructure, and will be responsible for configuring and supporting one or all business function software solutions including ( Network Security - MDM - HCI ) for our organization. The ideal candidate should have experience with network infrastructure and security, mobile device management techniques and practices, hyper-converged infrastructure management, and the ability to design and build solutions to meet business needs.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
- System Administration:
- Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based servers, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Manage user accounts and access controls.
- Perform routine backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures.
- Help Desk Support:
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in person.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Document and escalate complex issues to other IT team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- From 1 to 3 years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network administration concepts and security principles.
- Solid experience with Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Great knowledge and practices for mobile device management softwares and techniques.
- Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure server management and administration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects and priorities
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
